This week I was able to upload a video to my YouTube channel as well start filming my presentation video for Genius Hour. I'm trying to make my presentation video pretty entertaining and a little funny, and I believe that it will come out pretty well. Besides that, I have recently adopted a new hobby of transposing and playing music that I listen to regularly. Most times, music isn't written for Bassoon, or even Trombone which would also be an option. If you were to look up sheet music for a popular song, the first result would most likely be a piano solo, and if not, perhaps an orchestral piece consisting of treble clef instruments. Transposing music is a lot of fun, especially when you don't have something to work off of. My most recent video isn't much as I only transposed about one page of music, and I haven't added any parts, but I like how it turned out nonetheless.
I think a better name for my project could've been "Jack starts a YouTube channel" or "An adventure into furthering my musical ability", because I just don't really enjoy editing. And I'll be honest, I probably don't enjoy it because I'm pretty bad at it. However, I am glad I chose something difficult, because I still made some progress that I may not have made if I wasn't being challenged. I don't have much to show for my project except a few videos on YouTube, but in my opinion, it's better than having nothing at all. This endeavor was honestly very fun, and I'm excited to finish it strong. www.youtube.com/channel/UCxbgBQdIoBtP16ZPDo3Ak_g - My YouTube Channel
